Mobile clinical-diagnostics units help to reveal HIV, TB and hepatitis among the most vulnerable

In Kyrgyzstan, mobile clinical-diagnostics units work in order to reveal HIV, TB, hepatitis and other transmissible disease among the most vulnerable groups of population including migrants.

In 2014 cialis cost per pill and 2015 two unique clinical-diagnostics units were provided by the Government of the Russian Federation to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

These medical units were provided in collaboration with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), Regional Public Association “AIDS- Infoconnection” (“SPID-Infosviaz”) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Each mobile health facility consists of a KAMAZ truck containing a lab, ultra-sound equipment and patient examination rooms. It has been working in the framework of the RCSK’s health activities in support of the most vulnerable groups, including migrants. Through this initiative, free medical services will be provided to people in-need by the mobile unit and its permanent medical personnel, including a general practitioner, a midwife-gynecologist, a dermatologist and a nurse.

The units have the capacity to deliver medical services up to 100 patients per day, including instrumental (ultrasound study, cardiograms and other services) and laboratory exami- nations and consultations of the specialists. The mobile unit can also access the most remote regions of the country where there are difficulties with access to health services.
